Happy 2015!!!

Hello my dearest readers, hope you’ve been having a wonderful new year thus far. First and foremost, apologies for the non-existing round up of 2014. The only highlight worth mentioning was my shocking red hair and the crazy cropped hairdo that still makes me regret my long tresses. That, and there were too many #ootds on my Instagram compared to here. The process of emailing pics from my phone to laptop is too tedious for a person such as I, the couch potato of the century.

Secondly, as a fresh graduate and an unemployed being, I have way too much time on my hands and would love to update as much as possible, but my photographer friends are all living the adult life. In other words, anyone as free as I am to do photoshoots? I am somewhat skilled enough to take yours too, I promise.

The last of the midi skirt series featuring this floral number scored on the last piece rack of The Editor’s Market. About time I get over it already, don’t you agree? Took me long enough to get bored of this style and am trying to get back all that fierceness I stored at the back of my wardrobe. Dying for some leather pants right now, though I doubt I can stand an hour wearing it in this heat we’re suffering from as of late. Perhaps my obsession with skirts were heightened for the simplest reasons; breeziness. Hmmm… that does put two and two together. Anyhow, that aside, let’s all get back to the part everyone is waiting for.

Just a quick update to kickstart June. This photo was taken last week while trying to catch the last bits of sunlight, and clearly we’ve failed. Seen here wearing a top from The Nanaroom, Forever 21 pants and hat I’ll wear everyday if I can, sunnies from Cheap Monday, Chanel earrings and Prada handbag. If I’m not in colours, my backdrop has to make up for it. Better yet when my lipstick matches it right? (wearing Morange by Mac lipstick by the way, hence the title. Naming my posts are definitely not my forte.)

Can’t believe almost half of the year is already past us. My holidays are coming up, and that means exciting things await. My heart’s bursting with so much emotions I wish I can share with you what’s up (too many feels, too many stories), but hang in there, you’ll be updated soon enough.

A proud owner of four different kinds of organza skirts, this last acquisition in bright hot pink is definitely my favourite. Duh.. Would you believe me if I said I still want more? Kept buying them to the point that I ran out of tops to match them with. Also had too many complaints about becoming way too girly and feminine because of them (I mean, these skirts are made for twirling, obviously), and so my one and only trusty leather jacket is brought out to channel my inner Fierceness.

I haven’t been wearing earrings for a long time, I’d usually just put on a pair of studs but this foxy number got me so in love, I couldn’t stop wearing them. Didn’t expect it be a such a man-repeller though, my boyfriend hates them! Another pair of this month’s haul is my jeggings which I can’t decide if it’s tartan or plaid. What do you think? Of course I googled it prior to asking but the forum I checked had such a huge debate, it gets a little confusing. I mean, what is the difference? Do enlighten me if you know the answer!
