Dedicated to my friends who made this trip a wonderful experience for me to share with the rest of you,  thanks for the endless joy, laughter and crazy, crazy times together. Krabi has been incredibly amazing because of them. It’s all back to reality the moment we touched down, with work and school swallowing us whole.

A 5-day trip that was shortened due to the nonstop downpour during the weekends made it difficult for us to explore Krabi. We did, however, managed two full day trips, doing a 7km white water rafting, elephant trekking, getting rid of dead skin at a fish spa and ATVs that broke down in the middle of the course. The second day had us enjoying the beach life, kayaking from Hong Island Bay to the Lagoon, which if I might add, was too much for our ‘toned’ arms. This was followed by snorkelling at Lading Island and a quick stopover at Pakbia Island where sand meets sky.

In between, we stuffed ourselves silly with Tom Yum, Green Curry Chicken, Pad Thai and of course, Banana & Nutella Pancake, the ultimate must have that tops all the other signature dishes. Oh the greasiness that makes it all the more sinfully good!

Albeit the few visuals you see here, I do hope you get to see a glimpse of Krabi from my point of view.  Can’t wait for another getaway with these friends of mine again. Let’s hit Boracay next, shall we!

When the lights turned down, they don’t know what they heard
Strike the match, play it loud, giving love to the world
We’ll be raising our hands, shining up to the sky
Cause we got the fire, fire, fire
Yeah we got the fire, fire fire

And we’re gonna let it burn
